What “Portfolio” is for

Portfolio is your public showcase: a clean page you can share with potential clients to show your work and let them contact you.

It’s designed to help you:

Present your best images in a professional layout
Match the look and feel to your brand (fonts, colors, style)
Share one simple link instead of sending files or folders
Optionally add a contact form so people can reach you immediately

1) Where to manage your Portfolio (Dashboard)

In the dashboard you manage your Portfolio from Tools → Portfolio.

Important: the system currently enforces one Portfolio per account (so you manage a single, consistent public page).

If you already have a portfolio, the app sends you directly to the editor.

Create your Portfolio

When you create it, you typically set:

Name (internal + can be used as the page title)
Slug (used in the public URL)
Template (the layout style)
Optional intro content (title/description)
Optional logo settings

2) Editing your Portfolio

Portfolio editing is built like a “page builder”. You can update both content and design.

Templates (layout styles)

You can choose from different templates (layouts), such as:

Classic
Minimal
Grid / Gallery styles
Modern
Horizontal / Parallax styles (depending on the template options available)

This lets you decide how images are presented (more editorial, more minimal, more immersive, etc.).

Images (your gallery)

You can build your portfolio by uploading/adding images.

You can:

Add multiple images
Reorder images (drag & drop) so the story flows the way you want
Replace an image without rebuilding the whole page
Remove an image
Set/edit image alt text (useful for accessibility and clarity)

Tip: put your strongest images first. Most visitors decide in seconds.

Brand & styling (how it looks)

Your portfolio can be customized visually through theme settings, typically including:

Colors
Typography (fonts)
Spacing and layout settings

This helps the portfolio feel consistent with your brand identity.

Contact form (optional)

Your Portfolio can be connected to a contact form.

What this means:

Visitors can browse your work and submit an inquiry right from the portfolio page.
The form can be connected by selecting a form (by ID/slug).

This is ideal if you want your portfolio link to double as a “lead capture” link.

3) Publishing & sharing

Draft vs Published

Draft: only you can view it in the dashboard.
Published: it becomes accessible publicly.

Publishing also sets a “published at” timestamp in the system.

Public link options

Your portfolio can be viewed publicly in two common ways:

Brand link (recommended)

A clean URL under your public brand area, like:

/{brand}/portfolio/{slug}

This is the “nice” link you share on your website, social profiles, or email signature.

Redirect link (flexible)

A route that can resolve either an ID or a slug and then render the portfolio:

/portfolio/{id-or-slug}

This is useful for compatibility and sharing when you don’t want to think about the exact URL structure.

Subscription visibility

If the portfolio owner’s subscription/trial is not active, public access can be blocked and visitors may be redirected away (to protect premium features).

In practice:

If your subscription/trial is active, your portfolio is accessible when published.
If not, the portfolio may not be visible publicly.

4) Best practices (simple, effective)

Keep it short: 15–30 strong images are usually better than 100 mixed images.
Order matters: first 6–9 images are your “hook”.
Choose one style: try to keep a consistent color mood and editing style.
Use the intro: add a short, friendly line about what you do and where you work.
Add a contact form: it turns “nice portfolio” into “new inquiries”.
